that's what we do with ours, had loads of takers.

We had someone a while ago offering a 50's serving hatch. Nothing odd about that until you read further down and realised you would have to go and remove the thing and fill the hole in afterwards !

 

I have never thought of offering my chcken's poop, interesting that you have so many takers, I guess it's the budding gardeners out there

I had one taker - a lady with an allotment. Have another couple of bags now and compost bins still full so will post those on this week.

I've offered a few things in the belief that it's amazing what crud other people will take off your hands. One was a broken etch-a-sketch - I actually got 3 people expressing an interest but all of them in turn failed up to collect. I also had some china bed pans don't ask that got loads of intrerest and were taken. Most people appeared to want to use them as garden plant containers. I also once offered a load of deflated footballs - I had visions of someone with a lot of dogs wanting them but I was wrong - there were no takers!

If there is one thing guaranteed to whet out appetites it is the expression "Don't ask", especially if followed by or .

I've just asked for Habitrail hamster cage bits on "I've got a good home" .

 

Actually, I don't need any now. I went a bit mad on Ebay . The hamster's house, relatively speaking, is probably bigger than ours now .

It only disappeared for me - I'd been fiddling with the workings I've undone my fiddles now so it is all back again
