I just thought that i would let you all know that I actually passed my grade 7 bassoon exam!! I'm so proud of myself that I just had to let you all know!!

 

Also i just wanted to know if their are any other bassoonists on the website??

Hurrah - that's a great achievement.

Don't play the Bassoon myself but have a few friends who do. Are you in any orchestras/ windbands? I used to play Clarinet/Sax/Recorder/Guitar until my health told me not to !

Wow, Grade 7 . Congratulations, that's a great achievement . I only managed Grade 4 piano .

 

My son plays trumpet, passed Grade 5 recently.

No basoon. I made it up to grade 7 piano and grade 6 cello a very long time ago. Well done, it takes a lot of hard work

As an almost 40 (well 39 actually) who only started to learn piano last year for the first time, I have every respect ...... Grade 7 how fab.

 

I would not even pass a piano prep test and my 11 year old has overtaken me and passed Grade 1 last week. But I plough on regardless.
