Hi guys,

 

Over the last week, we have been working on an upgrade to the forum and gallery software. The new versions has some extra features including more spam protection, faster software and easier to use. While upgrading, we are also taking the opportunity to move the forum and gallery to their own dedicated server which will make it faster still.

 

So, after careful testing, we are now ready to do the upgrade. We think the upgrade will take about 6 hours.

 

The upgrade will be done between 8am and 2pm tomorrow morning - 20th August 2008.

It is nice to be told, but are you sure it will take 6 hours?

Also whilst you are doing the upgrade do you fancy upgrading my pc as well!

It will, this forum is huge, it will take ages to transfer etc.

To a comment of mine about taking 6 hours to sort out the system, I was meaning will it take longer?

 

Just hope that the Omlet team have a very smooth run with no problems.

Well I strangely managed to pre occupy myself for 6 hours! It mostly consisted of playing too many games of Tetris on Facebook and getting round to actually painting a lot more of my canvas for my art coursework,

I'm glad I stopped using facebook as I'd never get anything done with games like that
