batty hen
They're here at last LSH and I drove up to Omlet on Friday and collected the following lovelies: Introducing from left to right - CLARISSA - The gormet of the gang, will eat anything and everything. MAVIS - "I don't really know . . . " Last to do everything but very willing. AMY - Pioneering super chicken, brains of the bunch, named after Amy Johnson after showing us her flying technique - hopefully she won't be flying the world! BODICEA - I'm in charge, this is my cube. Kept everyone holed up in the laying part of the coop on the first morning until gently restrained to allow everyone to get out. They have all settled really well and we've witnessed no disputes since day one. They really are time wasters - Marmite our loopy labrador has to keep going out to count them and LSH and I have spent hours watching them this weekend. Can't wait to see them free range.
