Yorkshire Pudding
It's not just my chooks who've gone on strike then! They went on holiday to a friend's garden, were treated like royalty and only missed one day the whole time. As soon as they came home there were no eggs for nearly a week and only one every couple of days since. Is it the weather?

Yorkshire Pudding
That's what I thought too - whilst on holiday they had not only our friends but all their neighbours bringing titbits - they were fed strawberries and cherries ! They didn't get a lot of free-ranging time, because my friend wasn't 100% sure her garden was hen-tight. Her FIL who has always had chooks did let them out every couple of days though and walked around the garden with two friendly chickens following him. When I brought them home they got lots of free-ranging but I draw the line at feeding them posh treats like cherries - perhaps they developed expensive tastes.
