Chickvic
That's tiny! There's a leader board for small eggs that ANH does, I'm sure she'll add you to it!

Smiler
Thankyou ANH! No double yolkers, think she was just testing how well I sort through the hemcore lol! I use a cat littler spade and they all come in too watch that I'm not unmaking their nests.
oniondog
We had a weeny egg this morning too. Tiny, but perfectly formed. I'd like to give it to a little girl who helped look after our hens, but thought I'd better ask -- if she tries to eat it, what will she find inside? Her mum is a chef, so I don't want her to cook it up as the world's smallest boiled egg with mini soldiers only to find it's eggwhite and a big chunk of grit or something, putting her off eggs for life! Can anyone help?
Snowy
I'm afraid tiny eggs can often just be egg white with no yolks.
oniondog
Thank you, Snowy. I think I'll give her the egg then, and just say it's probably a special very rare yolkless one. If we get a double-yolker tomorrow (you never know!) she can have that too, just to show the weird and wonderful variety of real eggs!
