Slim
It is not with me she is with a old couple up the road! My dad was walking to tesco and saw a sign saying chicken found. He called me up and said you might want to go have a look. She is a RECOVERED EX BAT! very tame. I have said that it is not good for her to be alone for any lengh of time I have said I will take her but thay have become attached. I am popping over with some grit and other bits later for them. Slim
I have just got a e-mail from the lady looking after her asking if i can look after the chicken for 4 days as she is going away. I am now quite annoyed with her as I have said I would look after it properly she don't seem to understand that you can't just put chickens together and you don't live well alone. Paola
Dare I ask what your reply to the email was?
The Dogmother
Good for you Slim, at least if she stayed with you she'd be well looked after, but if you don't have any alternative housing then it'd be a problem.
Fabergé
If you're stuck for housing, I may be able to loan you a Mk 1 eglu & run for a short time. I used it when I got my new girls but as they are all living together in the cube now, it is currently empty. You could then say the chicken really likes living with your others & must stay!
