JulesL
I thought they would lay for about 5/6 days then have a day off but Raquel is on day 9 today (not that I'm complaining!).
alison
My two pepperpots have not had a day off since their first eggs on the 4th August. The pepperpot has laid every day too. The speckeldy and amber star are a bit random!
jackiepoppies
My 6 girls have only had 4 days off between them since mid June so as you can imagine we're getting quite inventive as to what can be done with half a dozen eggs a day Jackiex
RubyReckless
They are random wee beasties. Some lay daily for months on end, some have a day or two off a week, some lay an egg once in a blue moon and doss the rest of the time. for your layers! Egluntyne
I depends on their age. In their first year they miss very few days but as they get older the gaps increase. Diet is a factor too.
Chickvic
Ruby managed to lay for 50 days before having a day off! Opal managed 31 days and Pearl usually does between 10 and 12 days.

chickencam
My White Star managed to lay for 70 day on the trot earlier this year and my light sussex has twice laid 2 eggs in one day but she tends to have a couple of days off each week.
