Gadget for cleaning out the run bedding

Recommended Posts

I was in Wilkinsons this week & spotted some things that I can only describe as "hand spades"- they fit on your hands & look a bit like giant mole paws! They were dead cheap, about £1.99, & I think they are designed to collect fallen leaves easily, but I thought they could be used to s"Ooops, word censored!"e up the aubiose from my run floor quite easily when I change it. I currently use a spade & it involves lots of shovelling & graft, & these mole hands look quite easy to use.

Any one any experience of them before I go out & buy some? They will come in handy this time of year too in the garden.

My kids were watching Tommy Zoom on CBeebies this afternoon, and he was wearing a pair while working in the garden. I had the kids looking at me like I was a loon when i said "oh, look, Tommy's wearing the hand spades from the Omlet board." My 6 year old pointed out that omlettes don't need spades, you can just eat them with a regular fork.

I think he thought his mother had completely lost her grip on reality.
