Yolky
My was still broody yesterday (but did seem less broody than before) anyway I thought one more night in the slammer should snap her out of it. But last night at 12o'clock I was led in bed and all I could hear was the wind, I was feeling just awful leaving her out of the eglu so I woke my husband up to come up the garden with me to retrive her and put her in the eglu. Yolky
lol I knew people here would understand. I am off out this afternoon to get them a bag of mash and some poultry spice so I can make them warm mash in the evenings now it is getting cold at night. Phosphorus
That is why I have just given up trying to break the habit - next stage would have to be the broody cage (they won't sit on the ice packs, just block the main body of the cube). I haven't the heart now the weather is cooling down.
