Disconfect - v. To sterilize the boiled sweet or lollipop you (or your children) dropped on the floor by blowing on it , somehow assuming this will "remove" all the germs.

Rosie also 'huffs' on stuff she has dropped I once caught her asking the dog to huff on her biscuit!

My son came back from Scout camp a few years ago having learned the five second rule - if it touched the ground for less than five seconds it wouldn't have any germs Maybe you only need to disconfect after five seconds!
