Omletina Kyckling
My friends who did it suggested that you needed really long high boots for the full effect. Being a size 10 I figured that this would be a pretty difficult thing to get. Well, that's my excuse for not getting round to it anyway Oooh, quite the opposite, there are some gentlemen who like to wear the long booties...if you put thigh boots into Ebay, you'd be surprised!! redhotchick
http://www.x-pole.co.uk/ I believe that this is a decent product. There may be a bit of a wait for delivery, best get your orders in for Christmas
baby bears mum
Ooh err Mrs. You go girl. (not sure the Ralgex rub is quite as sexy though - I would need it by the truck load if I tried it). Well done you.
Scooby
Just to say thank you Pengy - Couperwife and I went for our first pole dancing lesson tonight! Have to say, I really really enjoyed myself - plus I got to meet Couperwife (who is extremely lovely) so that was an added bonus. How many of us can say we meet at a pole dancing class Much respect to those girls who make it look so easy - it is much, much harder than it looks. I actually think I've pulled my arm out of its socket! We block-booked 6 lessons - dunno bout you Cathy but can see this being a regular Monday night thing now - no WAY I'm gonna get anywhere near good in 6 lessons! Guest
I also signed up for 6 lessons. Did the first one Sunday and tried to bend my left knee the wrong way! Also ended up with a LOT of new bruises but was great fun. The studio we were in was ground floor and had windows into the STREET! There are 8 people in our class, I took a friend (another Mum from James' school). And the woman I met at the taster - who teaches ICT is in the class too. Then another woman turned up who I knew WHO IS ALSO AN ICT TEACHER. How spooky is that - 8 in the class and 3 of us are ICT teachers! Looney
Sounds like you're having fun! I tried pole dancing at Spearmint Rhino in Norwich. I was useless and the instructor got cross that I couldn't understand what she wanted me to! Now, if she'd said throw yourself around the pole and spin a bit I'd have been fine I ended up with a blood blister on my knee from kneeling on the floor and doing what she described as a "sexy" move....not in my case, but it was extremely comical
Scooby
Yep Looney - sounds like me! I'm a bit achey today and have a good sized bruise on the back of my thigh from trying to grip the pole by hooking my leg round it and spinning (A sight to behold, believe me ) I have decided I need to learn how to do chin-ups at the gym - build up my arm strength - cos I found out last night I have none whatsoever! craftyhunnypie
It's getting like an Omlet Moulin Rouge here! I think its funny but good for you all. I couldn't do it - I'd feel daft & a bit seedy. I'm not judging anyone here - but that's how I'd feel. I'd probably come home with chafed thighs too. Ouch! Go girls go! I can picture you all having firemens poles fitted in your homes & you all spinning down them from the bedroom in the mornings, instead of using the stairs! Guest
I know a little boy who would love the idea of a pole instead of stairs. Trust me - its not erotic enough to be seedy - comedic and downright dangerous is more of a description. The teacher wrapped her legs round and spun in a controlled manner to the floor. I wrapped my legs round, tried to bend my left knee the wrong way and fell in a heap! Then limped back to the edge of the room.
