They are gorgeous, can see why it was more than a look I have one of each too from Fleur, and my Barnevelder is still cheeping away at 15 weeks now, and my Buff Sussex is the friendliest of the lot.

It was sooo difficult just taking two. She had Buff orpingtons too, but I really couldn't get one.

 

I didn't know she had Orps there, so it took so much will power and self control not to get one

I am very tempted to go back and get a couple of Orps from her aswell and/or get a replacement for Dixie who was going to lay me lovely blue eggs..........got to ponder it a bit longer

Last time I went to "just look" at chooks I came home with 2 Silkies! It's fatal.

I've been waiting for you to announce the arrival of new chooks especially as I knew you had a hankering for a Barnevelder! I love mine she comes up to me and we have good chats!! She's a lovely little lady and my best friend!

 

OMG how desperate am I for more chooks! Wyle Valley isn't far from us either! Did she have any Pekin bantams? Although buff sussex are on my wish list too!
