Lesley
A completely gratuitous photo here, sorry - we had blight last year.....and no tomatoes .....this year has made up for it and I've spent most days cooking tomatoes in one form or another This year is the first year I've managed to grow really big Beefsteak tomatoes as well - some of them were enormous We also had a good crop of sweetcorn - around 100 cobs altogether......... theherd123
My toms are still green and im at seeing all your lovely red ones! Did the pasata machine get an airing? The cobs look great too - my chookies would have a field day!
Christian
Well done Lesley! My cobs can't even be classed as baby corn! I have one cob that is large enough to eat
chickencam
We have done well for sweetcorn, but they were really late we are still eating them now and waiting for some to ripen. Tomatoes have been a bit hit and miss this year, a lot of mould about, have made quite a bit of tomato sauce for the freezer though.
