Not for me I'm afraid. I use the timer on my mobile, 4 minutes and they are done perfectly to my taste

I was given one of these. You have to remember to look at it to see when they are cooked. Yes I've had hard boiled eggs

I've had one of these for years - got it from Lakeland and I STILL can't boil an egg!

 

I'ts very frustrating really - fortunately Mum has the knack!

If only it was that simple. I got this for two reasons really: -

 

1. OH always makes breakfast and whilst he can build chicken runs and other practical things.....ask him to boil an egg.

 

2. When we moved to this house we decided that we wouldn't change one thing or buy anything for it for a year. Hence I have an old cooker which although has all the k"Ooops, word censored!"s it doesn't have any writing on so we haven't got a clue what temperature anything is we just have to guess which can be interesting.

I bought one of these from the Omlet shop and loved it so much that I bought my Mum one a week later

 

Eggs come out perfect so no more under-cooked or over-cooked eggs-the kids love it

I used to have one of these and loved it as I have a real phobia about undercooked white. It worked perfectly every time.

 

It doesn't last for long though probably about a year then it starts to go funny

I have had mine for 2 years and love it.

 

My brother can't boil an egg to save his life, so got one of these in his stocking last year.

(remember it needs to be at the same temperature as your eggs though - he came unstuck )

This might be a stupid question , but does it work on any size of egg? I used to buy large eggs, but now my chickens are laying medium eggs. Surely they have different cooking times?
