A journalist interviewed me about how volunteering for the BHWT had inspired my jewellery, and then a photographer came round to take my photo yesterday, but I don't know what they'll put in!

I don't know if you are still on Jean's list - there are two rescues coming up - 1st and 8th November and there will be more in December... we have a waiting list of about 2000 hens...

Maybe we aren't - they haven't rung for ages. Last time we went James snapped a tendon in his finger putting on his wellie! Then we were out of action for a bit when J's mum got very ill and died. We're ready to help again now though - will email to make sure we're on helpers list!

Weeks later and they finally published the article on page 3 of the weekend section yesterday! You can see it here

 

The picture is another jeweller wearing about 50 pieces of jewellery though, rather than me, Lily , and 2 pieces!

Absolutely! I'm glad they got the BHWT too. The last article in Good Housekeeping focused on Omlet and totally missed out the BHWT - I think because Omlet pay them for advertising space!
