It's really weird outside- kind of a pinky light, but dim & quite dark

I need to put the lamp on.

Does it herald snow

There is a bit of pink cloud here. It had been very sunny all day but bitingly cold.

We have been having wierd patches of really dim light throughout the day followed by the most amazing bright, heavy snow storms. The hens are really confused.

Ian is bottling our pear wine so after I put the girls to bed and brushed up, I decided to stay out of his way for a bit. He gave me a glass of pear wine and I sat on the bench, snuggled in my fleece, sipping wine and just chilling (or should that be warming) listening to the evening.

 

I've just come in now and my skin is all soft and cold, must be good for the complexion!

Pinky purple sky here too Yup I think snows on the way

I spent the afternoon thoroughly cleaning out the girls cube and run while they freeranged

they were so happy to be out, as I am now at work FT they have to spend all week enclosed in there run I feel so guilty I spoil them rotton on the weekend to make up for it. I was so cold I had to have a bath to warm myself and then didn't know whether to laugh or cry as I started to thaw.

We noticed it too - we were out in the garden sorting our new out and I commented to DH about the sky......no snow though .

 

Just about to go out wrapped up and have a drink next to the Chimnea, as we are burning a small tree we had to remove to get the eglu to fit in.
