Hi everyone! I thought I would update everyone with how Button & Bingo look now!

from this.....

 

 

to this...(nearly 12 weeks old)....

They are both Spongebob's children! Button looks black frizzle, but is actually sort of cuckoo / barred feathers (black & lavender) & is female.

 

Bingo is red (like his daddy) but with dark lavender / blue lacing to his chest. A little stunner & has the most gorgeous croaky crow! It's quite a pathetic effort crow!

 

I love them to bits.

Very cute! And they have grown a lot, they look quite grown up now. I thought I would like the frizzle best (the cutest as a baby chick) but Bingo is very smart indeed.

How lovely are they! Very photogenic and unusual colouring and markings, makes me even more excited about getting my 3 little girls They are a credit to their mummy for bringing them up so well!

i wanted a frizzle but being very inpatient i couldnt wait and had 2 pekins instead, i do love them though

Well they both came from Spongebob - a red frizzle bantam cockerel & lavender pekin females. So I haven't really any idea what colour as such Bingo would get classed as & where the lacing to his chest has come from? It is more blue than lavender I suppose. I'm very happy with the outcome of both & they put themselves to bed all by themselves tonight. Bingo is a very dinky boy - he looks big in the photos, but he's not much taller than his 'stand on to crow' brick"!

I plan to hatch some more of Spongebobs children after my hols - or I may try some eggs from my big girls, as Boon the handsome Partridge Cochin has been mounting my posh gold laced Wyandotte a lot. Now those would be interesting chicks!
