Clur Posted December 12, 2008 Share Posted December 12, 2008 I've been working on some business plans for the past few weeks, and every time I think I am 'there', I get feedback that there is still more to do. So, having reached revision 5 of my plans, I sent the below email to my boss. Names are changed to protect the innocent, and who thinks this'll have the desired effect?! Hi Mr Boss, Sorry that some of this still needed work. I got a little distracted by sheer frustration and ended up needing to leave it a little while as the children got worried when I started yelling profanities randomly whilst rocking backwards and forwards in the corner of the room. I've taken another look through and I did have some of the pipeline exiting Quarter 4 wrong - I'd not included the Scandinavian figures, so we're now looking even stronger. Being a woman and not happy with any given situation, I am nervous that this is looking a little 'too good'. I've included my pipeline overview as I thought that might be of interest and provide some more context. Anyway, all info is attached for your perusal. All's left for me to say is that I hope you do approve this. Obviously not for my own benefit (you understand), but I will have to murder Santa and bury him under my patio should I need any future revisions. He did need me to make some changes to the plan but sent me this plea: 'Think of all the little ones. They don't deserve to suffer just because you have. Surely. Have mercy.'
