Chickvic
We are looking to expand our flock next year and we would like some different breeds. DD is desperate for a lavender chicken of some sort. We have looked on the Omlet list and googled but there doesn't seem to be much that comes up. Has anyone got a recommendation within a couple of hours drive? We are also getting a next year!
Larkspurs
I haven't any experience with these folk but I was looking for a local supplier for stalosan F and ran across them. maybe you can give them a call, they have a selection of birds. http://www.purelypoultry.co.uk/Home.html
Snowy
These two might be within reach for you: http://www.warwickshirerarebreedfarm.co.uk/'>http://www.warwickshirerarebreedfarm.co.uk/ http://www.warwickshirerarebreedfarm.co.uk/ They both have pure breeds as well as the usual hybrids so always worth ringing to see what they have available first. And both are highly recommended!
moochoo
There are a few within easy travelling distance. http://www.oakmeadowfarm.co.uk/home.htm http://www.merrydalepoultry.co.uk/ http://www.cotswoldchickens.co.uk/ http://www.thechickengarden.com/ www.domesticfowltrust.co.uk/ Most provide hybrid hens. If you want something a little more unusual it's worth a journey to here: http://www.wernlas.com/ Hope that helps.
farrowy
Hi - we've been to the Domestic Fowl Trust at Honeybourne, which has birds for sale: The Domestic Fowl Trust Station Road Honeybourne Evesham WR11 7QZ www.domesticfowltrust.co.uk/
emmaw298
I have been to both domestic fowl trust (near evesham) and the wernlas collection (near ludlow) and would recommend both and not too far from brum!
Omletina Kyckling
I've bought girls from Merrydale Poultry, which has been recommended by others, and Karen there is very good.
ClaireG
I can recommend Cotswolds Chickens, my three girls came from there.

Snowy
I've just re read my earlier post and realised I posted 2 links to Warwickshire Rare Breeds. One was meant to be to Merrydale Poultry. Sorry! Looks like Warwickshire RB is winding down though, doesn't seem to have much stock, or appear to have any plans for any in the future. kez
Oh no, I was planning to get two more in the Spring from Warwickshire Rare Breads Farm as they are very close to us.
moochoo
Warwickshire Rare Breeds will only be selling hybrids in the near future and are selling off all their breeding stock at the minute. Some beautiful birds to be had if you don't mind having a cockeral too.
