Ygerna
Molly on the left, Charlotte in the middle with the pale cream tail feathers and Storm on the far right. Molly came with the Eglu, and the two others came from Southmead Poultry this afternoon (£9 each, ) They were seperated for about an hour, with the canes coming out about an hour before bedtime. They were feeding and drinking together, and though I saw one or two 'pecks' nothing too severe. Yet. They are now tucked up for the night though getting them all in was interesting. I was hoping they would take themselves off to bed once it got to dusk. Apparently not. Molly went in but the other two were having none of it. I had to close the Eglu door, open the run and entice them up, catch one, close the run door and then carry the hen to the egg port and pop them in through there. I was given some very hard stares by Storm Lets hope they get the hang of it soon.

Ygerna
Thank you everyone. I am so darn pleased about finally getting my chickens its hard to explain to anyone non-chickeny Highlight of my day was standing out on the patio, grasping a mug of steaming coffee just looking at my ladies. It was bl**dy freezing out, but I could not have been happier. Can't wait to do it again tomorrow.
