I stood for nearly an hour today just looking at my girls. I am getting nothing done at all and I dont care either.

Thank you - it's good to hear good things from those who know! They looked in good condition and very pretty to me but (manuel voice) I know nothing!

 

Am I the only omletteer who has put a layer of bubble wrap and a picnic rug on their eglu? -3 already here!

 

I am frozen from going out to watch them constantly (clutching tea in my new rosie hen cup from the burleigh factory which was conveniently on the way )

I think we're getting it colder than everyone else at the moment! It hopefully won't bother your girls too much, but I would invest in some comfy warm footwear!! Chicken watching is definitely addictive. Welcome to a better world!

My lovely girls have done us proud and produced a lovely 62g egg apiece I don't know who's clucking more, them or me!

Did you remember to thank them? Every time I collect an egg I always say 'thank you chickens' - makes me feel better for taking their produce!

One scrambled and the other fried (in an egg ring) with freshly made white bread and some lovely butter. Very happy boys all set up for the day.
