Redwing Posted January 3, 2009 Share Posted January 3, 2009 These companies sell cheap seeds http://www.alanromans.com http://www.kingsseeds.com (the address on this one is correct but it doesn't seem to be working at the mo) http://www.moreveg.net One or two of these sell smaller packs of seed so that you can buy lots of varieties which is great if you are new to growing veg and are not sure what will grow well on your plot or don't know what you will like the taste of. Experimenting will be fun - after all who wants to eat the same carrots year in and year out just because they bought a mega pack of seeds in 2005? Falkor Posted January 3, 2009 Share Posted January 3, 2009 just checked out Moreveg and looks good and with the recommendation from redwing looks like this will be where I will be buying my seeds from as only have a small plot and don`t need 1000 carrot seeds!!! Redwing Posted January 3, 2009 Author Share Posted January 3, 2009 (edited) Moreveg send them in no-frills clear re-sealable bags (another plus) with a slip of blue paper inside giving the sowing and planting out instructions - they do include some cooking tips on some of them (yet another plus!)
