Oh Baggins I'm so  We would like a cube but we still thinking about it!! I'm quite worried about introductions aswell, though what i would do is keep the old girls in the eglu and the newbies in the cube and run, then introduce slowly through supervised free range. Then mingle more as time goes on and sell the eglu once transition complete. It's also tricky working out how many more newbies to get, as space here is an issue what with a postage stamp garden! :( I so want a pure breed aswell, a funky chicken!! like a silkie! Sure it won't be too bad putting together it will be worth it. Keep us posted with how the intros go and don't forget pictures!

I remember doing the Cube jig last May  and the egg dance at the appropriate time  and hens do indeed bring lots of happiness! (and ex-batts are particularly special)

It took me over two hours to construct my (cube green) by myself and would have been a whole lot quicker with someone else to help. The instructions are quite clear and you can always ring Omlet if you get stuck. It's well worth the effort - I wouldn't swap mine now :D .
