I know Starbucks isn't everyones favourite eco-friendly shop around here but this isn't for me.

My physics teacher is leaving soon and last year he had some toffee nut syrup given to him to put in coffee and he used to drink it every lesson.

 

I've tried to get it this year as a leaving present for him, but can't find any. (I did notice that the taps were all off when I went into Starbucks a few weeks ago.)

Does anybody know of any websites that I could try?

I might just have to try some more stores.

You could try ebay but it has to come from the US so will cost a fortune (particularly with current exchange rates). What about trying somewhere like Whittards? They may have something similar at less cost.

Makro do coffee syrups. Not sure if they do toffee nut though.

its one of their Christmas ones so you can only find it in stores at Xmas. If you wanted Peppermint I have about 30 bottles from my pre lighterlife days - I used to stock up every Xmas!

Whittards have some lovely syrups - I was given some for Christmas.

I'll see if I can get to starbucks tomorrow then and see if they have a bottle left from christmas, Whittards will have to be a weeked jobbie, because the closest one is in the Bullring.

I would be happy to check if it would be less expensive to post it from across the pond vs ordering it from the UK and having it shipped.

Whittards dont have Toffee Nut syrup, i worked for them until about a week ago - our local one is closing down, as are a number of others i believe.

Sorry to hear that Specklyboo - I thought Whittards had found a rescue package?

 

They do have a Caramel syrup though, if you can find any - I have mine in milk as i don't drink coffee.

Caramel is recommended, also the Gingerbread, if they have any left.

Whittards did get bought, we didnt get told a lot about what was going to happen, so its kind of a wait and see thing.
