AnnieP
I have just gone down the list of who was attending . You must all think I'm awfully rude, as I seem to have missed speaking to at least 9 people ! Public apologies to Gina (Who I didn't even see ), Hayley and Nicholas, (Ditto) Gillie (Ditto) Clare* and Ben (Ditto) Richard and Wendy (Ditto), auntye (Ditto)..... I'm off to the opticians to get my contact lenses checked out today!.....unless of course, you all were avoiding me! Just managed a fleeting nod at Lesley, Karen, Paola, Trish, Caz, Claret and Phil, James and Christine and Kate! We DEFINITELY need a longer amount of time to see eachother.... Its impossible to get round to everyone isn't it? Maybe next time we can take stickers for people who haven't got badges to wear??
Mrs Frugal
I know Annie! I was just the same. There were so many people to talk to and not enough time!! I only managed a fleeting hello to Andrew - again! Just the same at Burghley! We'll have a chat next time!! I didn't even see Richard and Wendy or Aunty e! So sorry . buffie
My legs ached and I was tired as I had tried to rush around saying hi and natter but I will confess that I didn't know some of the nice people I spoke to and did miss others all together. Emma came over and said hello Buffie and I stared at her and then looked at her badge ..The herd 123!!!! hugs all round then. The badges really help and even more sorry if you had a badge and I didn't see it Great time had by all I hope BBx

Popcorn
yes I agree Paola. It would make things easier for us to have a daytime meeting. Any ideas for a winter get together somewhere? Annie, I saw you across the crowded floor, but couldn't quite catch up with you as we had to leave. Were you with Jonnie - blue shirt?? You were the queen of all things pink and flufy Buff
Martin B
There is a thread about a Christmas get together that Buffie did!
buffie
You were the queen of all things pink and flufy Buff Yes Gina I created a monster with Buffie I think. Jayne isn't very pink and fluffy!!! BBx

buffie
It's a funny thing Gina, too long a story to go into now and I wouldn't want to bore you I would fall over in those shoes! BBx
The Dogmother
Oh goodness, I didn't see anyone with a Richard badge on either He comes from near where I used to live, so I wanted to find him - BOTHER! I did have some extra stickers for name badges, but gave them to James as none of the Omlet lads had badges and I think they all got used up. Name badges will have to be a criteria for the next get-together. Gina - You're always welcome to a big squidge, it's a shame Stefan was feeling grumpy so I couldn't nibble his toes. Buff - I'm like you, not at all pink and fluffy. I can't imagine where Rosie got it from. She had a whale of a time and didn't want to go when her Dad picked her up Phil enjoyed himself, but was mindful of having to work all weekend due to deadlines Daisie was just so good. Popcorn
Good idea giving the stickers to the Omlet Boys Clare. When James walked in both Trish and I caught ourselves staring at him wondering 'which one' he was! Did James have a brother there?
The Dogmother
Yes he did Gina, they are so similar that I think we all did a double-take! His folks also came later on. I didn't plan to bring the stickers for them (I'm not that organised), they were just extras that I chucked in in case anyone needed them. AnnieP
James brother I think was called Graham..... or at least that's what OH thought he said, so OH launched into some stick about harrassing us all on the forum etc, pants, etc...... thinking it was grd
buffie
Well Mikey called him James for most of the night and I asked him to model pants... He went quiet and said 'no ones ever asked me to do that' I blushed and he said 'that's very nice' He was a nice guy and James and his parents were, not had too much time to speak to James before, got a kiss on my 40th from them all though:wink: Found out a few things about the boys from Mr and Mrs Tuthill BBx

buffie
It's easy to wind you lot up I honestly know nothing just silly little things that parents like to say about their children..they're proud and that sort of stuff James did come home with 2 hens in a box when they'd said no to the idea at first and the rest is history BBx
