Southampton council have apparently made Ikea charge for their car parking (dont know how much). Of course I'm also on the not spending kick BUT I could go for lunch AND essentials....now WHAT do Ikea sell that is essential.... I KNOW LIGHT BULBS!!!! Just checked, depart Southampton Saturday 23rd May for 7 days, I don't think I'll be able to fit in Ikea, so may have to wait till August.... Its going to be really busy for the first couple of weeks and the road system to Ikea in Southampton will not be good. It gets jammed up now especially when the cruise boats are in.
