Remember the veggie daughter? - warning spend alert!!!

Recommended Posts

Its going fine.

I bought a pack of Quorn mince & a pack of Quorn Chicken pieces, along with some veggie sausages, all of which I have split into portions & popped in the freezer.

So I can just get out what she needs each morning & cook it along side our meaty meals.

She had 2 home made veggie sausage rolls last night, sweet & sour 'chicken' & eggy fried rice another day, & we have Spaghetti Bolognese tonight, so I will just cook hers seperately.

We have also had 3 veggie famiy meals this week, which has been good too.

Sarah, I did what you are doing for years with my veggie husband. It took me 10 years to convert him into a meat eater

It not too bad cooking different things when you get into the swing, athough I have to say its easyer not having to do it. We eat a lot less vegetarian dishes as a whole family now though. I think we need to try harder to have more 'meat free' meals. I think I was once Quorns biggest customer. I love the quorn southern fried burgers. They are smashing on a bun with salad. I still buy those sometimes.

I find most of the Linda Mcartney range a bit :vom:

Edited to add.... Love the shirt!! :D
