Thanks everyone. Well no more damage in the night, we now just have to some how flip the run back over so it is the right way up. My husband is talking about putting chains on the side and concereting them in, he is determined that this won't happen again.

The girl are out pottering about the garden as if nothing has happened, which is the main thing, and we even have got one egg from the lovlies.

Thank you everyone for your well wishes.

You would not believe how heavy it was. It took both of us with all our bodily strength ages to get it back upright. The roof is mostly broken but thank goodness my husband built the structure strong and that is still in one piece. We have had another eggie too.

i am glad everything is a bit brighter this morning. The good news is that the girls are ok. The eglus are very strong to withstand being ejected off a shelf and throw onto the floor. One of our greenhouses had its glass blown out a couple of years ago when we had a freak tornado in the garden... Took us ages to pick up all the broken glass. Hugs to you and keep your chin up spring and warmer less windy weather is nearly here.... :D

This must have been an awful shock for you. The structure looks so solid and heavy. I am sure it is making a lot of people think.

It could have been much worse, if that is any comfort to you. It could have happened when you were on holiday, or during the day when you were out. And the fact that the hens are fine must be very cheering. Things are always a hundred times worse at night.
