Happy chickens!
19/20 thought the long standing was missing an exclamation mark not a hypen.
Guest
Errrm I got 14 I know I'm a teacher I have one O level - in English, took it a year early! (Actually was the only passing grade I left school with) I also have A level English I passed the literacy test for teaching first time too. Astonishingly I got ALL the spellings correct - spelling was always my weakest area. I'm off to drown my sorrows now.
craftyhunnypie
I'm not ashamed at all at only getting 14, because I know I'm good at other stuff. Emma.x
Omletina Kyckling
I'm not ashamed at all at only getting 14, because I know I'm good at other stuff. Emma.x Quite right too! If this were a 100 metre sprint, you'd have to all have a cup of tea before I crossed the finish line
chickencam
17 for me I hate to see bad use of English on forums and ebay etc, by people with English as their first and only language However, it doesn't look like I am in any position to complain It was mainly the spelling section that let me down, all the drag and drop ones were pretty basic, but spelling in out language can be quite tough sometimes, well that's my excuse anyway. Saronne
Chill out, everyone. It's only a quiz - and everyone here is functionally literate or we wouldn't be on this site! Incidentally, I scored 19 - got stuck on spelling of 'accommodation' and I used to write for a living. Saronne
chickencam
My ED just did this and she only got 12, she is a potential A* English pupil at a good grammar school so what hope the rest of the youth of today
