SAB
Well I said I would post what I had made (with help from 12 year old daughter, and minimum help from 10 year old son) since Christmas. This is what we made in January Some cards, 2 sock monsters, a cuddly squirrel, a rag doll, some earrings, some children's bracelets, necklaces, and rings. All made from materials already in the house or kits from Santa. The gorgeous Sequin Art dragon my daughter got as kit for Christmas and we did together. We also dyed some old towels to revive them - lovely shades of chocolate, terrecotta, and warm orange; and a dress and top have now been revived in dark forest green. A good month - not sure that we will do so well in Feb , but we will see.

Plum
That dragon is beautiful well done daughter. Bit worried about your cuddly toys, wouldn't like to be in your house at halloween. Bet you've had a lot of fun.

Yep the sock monsters are a bit crazy looking - their features were made according to the instructions of the recipients - my sons (10 and 5)! SAB
What a sweet little rag doll, was she a kit or a pattern? Sha x She was a kit - there was not actually much sewing in her, but was a starter for my daughter who has another kit which is much harder (more pattern based) that we will be working on at some point.
