Man, i've no idea where I'm going to keep putting the stuff However, the girls wasted no time in getting a quick bath in!!! Please note they are ignoring the lovely, cleanly prepared bath in the purple trug Please excuse Harriets oven ready bottie Edited February 8, 2009 by Guest
Falkor
Is that Aubiose they are bathing in?? I have started collecting my Aubiose/poo in old compost sacks and intend to offer it on Freecyle. Great pics BTW

quickcluck
Easibed..... I think it's the same sort of thing... I've been spreading it about the garden like a mad woman!!! I am hoping it'll be good mulch, and if not it'll protect the plants from the frost!
Plum
Yup mine dustbath in the bedding whether its woodchip or hemcore, they just ignore the dustbath I gave them except for chucking the compost around the run.
Hen Watch
We changed their run yesterday!!! Man, i've no idea where I'm going to keep putting the stuff Oh me too..... overflowing compost bins, chucked under the larger shrub bushes, running out of ideas, roll on the Spring when they can go back on the grass...... Great pics. Am jealous, my lot have Auboise in the run and NEVER bathe in it. They always demand nice bone dry earth and turn their beaks up at anything else. Ain't Nobody Here
Aww, lovely pictures . Both my compost bins are bursting so we've started chucking the hemcore (or easibed) anywhere we can on the flowerbeds . It covers the weeds and makes it look like I'm a conscientious gardener . chelsea
blimey, a mass bath.... very funny. Is that sprouts hanging down from your run? I've never tried mine with sprouts.
quickcluck
OH yes! They love them... it takes just over a day to scoff the sprouts and then a few more to take it down to the bare stalk! They are only a pound - great value
