abwsco
Well mine flaming well do!! We have the run sides covered with polythene sheeting to keep the rain out. As we've still got the two newbies in the run I thought I'd cut a small section off so that they get to see each other all the time. Youngest DD has told me today that she'd seen some of the older ones eating the plastic on Tuesday. Being a typicl teenager she forgot to tell me Could explain why we only got 3 eggs yesterday. Guess what I have been doing this afternoon and they were even trying to eat it then!!
Ygerna
Mine destroyed two polystyren boxes that had soil in for carrots. There were bits all over the garden. No sure they ate any though I have suspicions they did
Margalot
What a coincidence! I did the same as we had an exposed piece of run and the chickens were getting sleet/ snowed on and I was worried about them getting wet before bed and then it being so cold so I took a sheet of white polythene from the green house and pegged it over them........yesterday morning they had pulled the corner in and were shredding it Only one of them seemd to have a taste for eating it though and she seems fine now! I have now replaced my shower curtain with a new one for us and the chooks have our old one! Mine like to have a peck at anything new just to see what it is!
