Janty
Just noticed that you have cochins, Madbird. What colours are they?
Madbird
Just noticed that you have cochins, Madbird. What colours are they? Hiya... Dusty is blue (although she has a fair bit of brown on her) and Floss is cream coloured with some pale gold lacing... so I would say non-standard colours, but very pretty Floss is really friendly and placid, but I am convinced Dusty is not a cochin sometimes, she is very flighty and not at all friendly! bless her. Neither have layed yet, so am waiting to see what colour eggs they produce. I love blue splash Cochins and they are definately on my 'to get' list

..lay a little egg for me
I think it is a bit of luck as speckledy hens are supposed to lay speckled eggs but mine doesn't most of the time. One of my others also sometimes lays speckled eggs but I'm not sure who's responsible!
