Ain't Nobody Here
Tony at Aviaries4u is sponsoring this worthwhile fundraising effort by offering one of his runs as a prize. He is not gaining financially by this but wondered if some of his Omleteer "supporters" might consider donating £2 to this cause (and obviously anyone else who would like to!). Each £1 donated buys one raffle ticket. If you already have a run (mine's on order!) you would obviously be free to sell it/donate it to wherever you wished. Here are instructions on how to enter the raffle for a chance to win a run 12ft x 6ft x 6ft (or smaller if required) including delivery. Olly
ooh - great! That may be today's random act of kindness (see Lent thread!) I don't want to wait till July for a run, but I never win raffles anyway. Although at this rate it will be July before I decide what I want to order and where to put it! Egluntyne
Fantastic idea. I'll chalk it up as my random act of kindness today too. Thanks for the idea Olly.
jlo
I've just sponsered him as well. I haven't claimed for the Gift Aid as I seem to remember that there are rules that you can't if it is as part of a raffle??
Ain't Nobody Here
I've just sponsered him as well. I haven't claimed for the Gift Aid as I seem to remember that there are rules that you can't if it is as part of a raffle?? I didn't know that and ticked the Gift Aid box but when you look at the list of donations the Gift Aid is blanked out, presumably because I ticked the "raffle" box. I'm feeling a bit mean . You've all been very generous .

Message from Tony Could you make it clear that people need to email me so I can send them their raffle tickets please, I have entered everyone in the raffle but I don't have peoples' email addresses to send them their tickets. hillfamily
I've donated and emailed :D I've spent so long today looking at the Aviaries4u website that I have now decided to order a walk in run I'm very very excited and can't wait to phone them in the morning to order it :D The plan is to order one that will fit into the girls area of the garden but can fit the cube and eglu in so that I can section one end off when I'm doing introductions........hopefully I can get it quick enough that my new battie girls can move in and be integrated when they are ready in about 6 weeks time :D
