We are having Welsh lamb and leeky mash for dinner in about 20 mins followed by bara brith bread and butter pudding.

I love Bara brith. We are from the Gower originally and so Laverbread and cockles followed by welsh cakes (I did manage to stop them pinching the cakes as they came off the griddle)

I have limited phrases and words. My parent shave slightly more though Dad grew up in Cardiff which is english speaking

Went to church this morning with guides, and the leader chose me to hold our flag!

I was very proud

 

..except when we got to the front I nearly knocked the vicar out with it!

 

big sis was playing welsh folk music on her violin...

 

The whole thing was very cosy and had a lovely ambience as it was beautifully sunny here this morning and everyone was wearing daffodils!

 

edited to add: it was also Yolko's first egg! 37g! clever little welsh chicken!...we did buy her from Powys
