Falkor Posted March 29, 2009 Share Posted March 29, 2009 Well the newbies, Fizz and Snowball have been with us for eight days. They have been living in their own and run on and the Orps have been free ranging around them but today was freedom day! Little bro (palmer06) arrived EARLY this morning (8.30!? ) and after a trip to Thornes to look at the lovely pure breeds we came home to clip some wings! Wing clipping went smoothly and the new girls were reasonably calm and then......they free ranged with the Orps . It went REALLY well OSH chased Snowball a bit to start with but after half hour she was holding her own and didn`t run away and stood still, OSH backed down. Gin didn`t seem to care at all but that may have been down to the vast amounts of corn being thrown about While they were all out in the garden little bro and I moved the Eglu into the WIR and attached the short guinlu run. After an hour and a half of uneventful intergrated free ranging I walked them into the WIR and with a bit of direction Fizz and Snowball went into their little run Everyone is in their own beds now and I am CHUFFED!
