fluffyknickers
Got my actifry and love it as the chips take minimal oil and they taste great. I wondered if anyone else has any other ideas other than chips for it? Thanks Michelle
Rhapsody
Blimey where do I start? I use mine nearly every day.. Best sausages ever. Quartered mushrooms with a spray of oil, salt and pepper. Browning all meats before cooking eg mince, stewing steak etc. Cubed chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning sprinkled in. Boned and butterflied chicken thighs. Diced aubergine, peppers and onion with a splash of Wok oil. Cubed Chorizo and Halloumi (to serve on a bed of Rocket) In fact the only thing I dont cook in it is chips! Lesley
As Rhapsody says - but we also do chips in ours....and last week I made mini Scotch Eggs using quail eggs and part baked them in the oven, as soon as they were firm enough I put them in the Actifry with a drizzle of oil and they looked really good - not as dry looking as just baked and not as greasy as fried. Cinnamon
I am afraid that I use mine for chips mostly - oven chips at that But they are so good done in the Actifry, aren't they? Might try a stir fry later this week
Milly
As others have said, sausages. But they are also brilliant for chicken wings. I get big juicy ones at the farmers market and they cook much better in the actifry than when I used to cook them in the oven. Much more moist.
