Ravelry is a site for knitters and crocheters. Wondered if anyone else here is on it? I'm there as FizzleKnit (as opposed to Fizzle Knit)

I'm there but can't remember who I am either! I tend to log in only when I see something plugged on it from another craft blog. Good site though!

What is your user name Snowy and Chicky? Then I could have FOUR friends (count them!). I daren't spend too long on the Ravelry site as well as Omlet or I'd never get anything done at all!

 

My other friend (on Ravelry) loves it and has arranged some get-togethers with other Ravelry members when she goes to a conference in Copenhagen shortly, and later in the year to the US. They are going to give her the insider city tour... so they sound like a nice bunch just like us!

Hi Uber,

It's a crochet/knitting site that is part social networking/part personal notebook/part resource to find patterns etc. For example, you can join "special interest" groups (there's even a chicken one!); and record details of your stash, finished projects etc, and look up patterns or see items that other people have already knitted. Quite good for having a nose at things other people have done
