Redwing
They don't need water in the night, they will be fine overnight without it. If you were to put some in they would only spill it, they are clumsy in the dark and in the light come to think of it! Congratulations on your new girls
chickenaddiction
thanks , i spent the afternoon in the garden just talking to them . he was so stern when he told me about the water it freaked me out a tad.
Looney
Tasha is right, no water needed overnight. Of course if you were to leave them locked in for a long time during the day as well it would be a different matter! Congratulations on getting your new ladies! Hangman
Yep - ours are just fine overnight without food and water. You'll have no problem
Egluntyne
Ditto to the above. No need for water or food in the Eglu itself.
Guest
Hi I remember asking the same question and although i am on week one with chickens in the evening i am suprised how dopey they become...so am sure they must be ready for bed and sleeping soundly..as so far not heard anything from them til i let them out at what ever time I choose I cant imagine they want to be drinking so sleepy indie
