4m x 3m Omlet pen, cube, new auto door still boxed and coop light

I'm not sure if I've ever been so over excited but my new cube finally arrived today. After much assembling the chickens are in and seemed to have settled in instantly despite a bit of rain.

Congratulations I got mine this week too and am so pleased with it and the newbies from omlet and the 3 additions are now all getting on really well...can see the sun was shining too for you

Congratulations to you too! I keep popping outside to see them, getting soaked and running in then wanting to go right back out again. Doesn't seem to bother them though!

Hi all!

 

Thanks for all the complements! My boyfriend did the patio to fit round the run. We thought it would make it easier to clean out when the weather is not so good and stop foxes being able to tunnel under.

 

Since we're first time chicken chicken owners we're still not sure which ones are boys or girls. They're four months now so we're just going to wait and see who starts laying and who starts going cock-a-doodle-do! Anyones oppinions would be much appreciated.

They all look so much happier to be outside today, sun bathing and dancing around like crazy. Life is so much better with chickens in it!

PS Just spent ages chasing the silkies round the pen trying to get them to go to bed. Does anyone else find their silkies are much stoooopider than the others?
