Hi James, I'm no expert, but when my girls stop laying so well I do find, as many others here will no doubt be along to say soon as well, that cutting out treats altogether and only feeding layers' pellets makes a big difference after 2 or 3 days. You can then start giving the odd treat here and there, or small amounts every day after say 2 or 3 o'clock, and see how that goes.

Does she seem otherwise well?

I wondered what an emergency chicken was for a mo.

An emergency chicken is a chicken kept in an easily accessible place, usually in a red box, under a glass cover, with a dinky hammer, to be released under a dire circumstances only - usually a serious chicken withdrawal-type situation, possible also to act like a chicken-patch to prevent more serious behaviour, e.g. purchasing eggs to go under a broody hen...

James - as others have suggested, try restricting the treats. Also, is she broody, or moulting?
