Chook n Boo Mum

Next time it rains.....

Recommended Posts

"The next time it begins to rain... lie down on your belly, nestle your chin into the grass, and get a frog's-eye view of how raindrops fall... The sight of hundreds of blades of grass bowing down and popping back up like piano keys strikes me as one of the merriest sights in the world." Malcolm Margolin

Mmmm, I can see the beautiful poetic thought....but the reality of a wet (probably pooy:vom: ) belly ....and a flock of chooks coming over to inspect the prostate mum in the grass...with the assistance of 3 labradors too....not seeming that appealing somehow! And anywhere outside the privacy of my garden & I'd be carted off to the loony bin :anxious::lol::lol::lol: The neighbours already think I'm barking, this would just confirm it

I agree with Wildmum... another of those things who seem like a lovely idea while reading it and a totally different thing when you actually 'do' it... Much better setting a little camera and watch it on the screen...

omg - even better - go swimming in a lake. Hampstead Ponds in a rainstorm - the smell, the sound of each splash, the frog/duck eye view. Oh, it's my idea of heaven! I love it. Even more when there's a storm, but you need to make sure you're away from the lifeguards or else they call you in for Elf and Safety and you have to wait for 20 mins after a thunderclap before you can go in again.

There. Funny Farm Card fully revealed.
