My crested cream legbar lays !eggblue! eggs but they are fading a bit (they do as the laying season goes on apparently). She doesn't lay every day and it doesn't take much of a drama to put her off for a few days. She does stop over winter too. Gorge though :D

pure cream legbars would definitely lay a very pale blue egg... sometimes they look white until you put something white next to them and then they are def blue... and they get paler through the laying season, ours are def blue at the moment, but will pale off.

if they are a columbine (hybrid) they may still be crested but can lay a blue, green or brown egg.... what colour are their ears.... only blue tinted ones will lay blue eggs. Brown/red ears will lay brown eggs im afraid.

thats correct the cream is the only one with a creast I've got one of each theres very little differance between the gold and cream colour wise the gold is also slightly smaller and mines as loopy as they come

I have a cream legbar and she lays pale blue eggs...in the wrong place and she also has earlobes like that too-slightly tinged with green and blue and then red at the edges.

Molly the cream legbar is the one in my avatar...laying in the wrong place, as per usual.
