Eggquisite
Hello all, Well I think it was Redwing who suggested popping to Cotswold Chickens... and phew only popped in for a couple of bits in preparation of our new arrivals! Well.. quite a few £££'s later Great store & very helpful owner not to say some super looking chooks!!! moochoo
It is a fab place, I'm hoping to take a friends of mine there in the next few weeks. Somehow she's been convinced to get chickens herself!

Eggquisite
Hello! Yes, I think the Cotswold Chickens is becoming a family favourite, unknowingly other family members have been there very recently. We're now trying to get the OH's mum to join the forum as she now has her & is planning to get her chooks from CC's..within the next few days. Having seen the chooks they have there we'll be getting another soon, just need to fill the first one before I move to the next  just don't tell the OH
Suzeb
We got our eglu and 3 beautiful girls from there. They were very patient with us while my son was choosing the chickens and really helpful in terms of advice and what to buy - felt that they were very much making sure that we got the right bits and pieces rather than trying to get us to buy stuff. Was reasonably confident about what we needed to know after going there. Only problem is I now really want a cube ..... keeping chickens is definitely a way of life rather than just a hobby. Redwing
Jude is great, 12 of my 13 chickens came from Jude
Gallina
My Bluebelle and Amber Star came from Cotswold Chickens. They also supply Omlet with pullets. So all the best people go there Make sure you ring and check they have what you want in stock. http://www.cotswoldchickens.com/ And remember that they only have hybrids -- but different sorts and wonderful layers. chick wiggle
Im so jealous, CC looks and sounds great but a bit far for us. Or I should say for any chooks we would buy. How long a car journey do you think they could stand?
Eggquisite
Hello - sorry not been on line recently.. have been having withdrawal symptoms Hi Sandi Im so jealous, CC looks and sounds great but a bit far for us. Or I should say for any chooks we would buy. How long a car journey do you think they could stand? I'm no expert I'm afraid but we're picking our chooks up & they are around 2hs 30mins away.. hopefully they will be fine.. I think so, provided they have a comfy carry box Hi Jen hi eggquisite, out of interest, where are you getting your pekins from? I'm after some more but I can't find many breeders with the colours I want. ta, jen We're getting our Pekins from Lisa's Poultry - link attached. Took me ages to find the colours I was looking for, eventually found Lisa http://lisaspoultry.co.uk/default.aspx Hope this helps good luck..
