And have been for 2 days!!

 

Have not touched the computer, the hoover or anything else since more or less, we have spent the weekend chicken watching!

 

After seeing Kay on Thursday, Louise on Friday, Hen Party with Karen on Saturday, we couldn't wait any longer and went straight to Golden Valley on Saturday afternoon (after sourcing some Aubiose for the run)

 

Better still on Sunday morning Charlotte and Samantha gave us an egg in return for their lovely new house

 

Charlotte again this morning!

 

I'm going to try and post photos's but don't know if it'll work

 

I have a question about the pecking order but will put that in a seperate post

 

Still want some pekins though Egglou and will have to hire a house/run to do the intros when their all settled in

 

I'm in love

I did indeed weigh the eggs, 51g from Charlotte and 42g from Samantha.

I think it was pretty obvious when you left mine on Friday that your cube would have its residents before the weekend was over

 

I know you were very taken with the pekin girls but once you get settled I'm sure you'll add some at a later date (may be able to help you here)... its very addictive!

 

Be prepared to not get much else done for the next week or two as chicken wathcing is compulsive
