Ness3103
my daughter bought the wii console, i think it was about £200 but not sure it depends where you buy it and what bundle you get so shop around for the best deal. amazon are usually good and delivery's usually free too. you need to buy nunchucks and extra controllers separately. the wii active is about £34 on amazon. Katy
I've been thinking about getting a Wii for a while, and having read this thread I've finally been sucked in and have just bought a Wii, Wii Fit and Wii Active. The best price I could find was through GAME online - £259 for the lot including free next day delivery. You have to pick the right combination for that price though - get the Wii and Wii Active Bundle (£189.99) and then the Wii fit (£69.99) separately otherwise it works out more expensive. jlo
Just done the first day of my work out and that was surprisingly good fun! I like the boxing best! It makes me feel less
Nicola H
I like the boxing too.............each day you will get different exercises the tennis is good.
Biker Chick
Got out the wii fit yesterday. Havent used it for ages and shock, horror, it said I had put on 8lb in 240 days but my wii fit age was 7 years younger than I am, so not all is lost!! My diet has started today and perhaps I had better look at this wii active
Seagazer
I like the boxing and tennis too but it really shows how weak my left arm is compared to the right. Just done my 4th day! Still really enjoying it. I've never lasted this long on an exercise regime I must be very fickle.

Chickvic
I have just finished the first day of the 30 day challenge. Actually I have had a shower since otherwise I'd be kicked off the forum! Talk about sweat - it didn't help that I've bashed my shin today and my leg is killing me! A big black bruise

Seagazer
I feel very bad as I didn't do a workout yesterday as I had a busy day and then a relaxing facial in the afternoon so didn't want to ruin the relaxed mood I was in. Haven't done it today as have been to Science Museum with YS, then we had to walk the dog when we got back. I think I have probably done enough exercise today I'm back on the Active tomorrow without a doubt
katieandnick
Got this a couple of days ago and did the first workout yesterday. Today I can barely move - my arms feel like they're about to fall off and I'm walking around like John Wayne. It's much, much harder than Wii Fit. Oh well, on with Day Two... Chickvic
I've just done day 3 and my legs are killing me day off tomorrow
katieandnick
Did day 2 yesterday, which wasn't as bad as I suspected, although the leg lunge things are a bit of a nightmare in our house because the lounge is long and thin, and you need more space to do those in! So I cheated and wiggled the controllers instead... Day off today, phew
Nicola H
The leg lunges are hard to do even when you have the room believe me, my legs are aching from yesterdays............As the days go on you get lots of new exercises and it bcomes more fun I love the volleyball and boxing....I am on day 11 nearly half way....What happens when you complete it do you just start again.... Seagazer
I'm not sure what happens when you finish it. I'm on 'easy' at the moment so I suppose if you are on one of the lower levels you just go higher. I was absolutely rubbish at basketball today. My excuse is that I was worried I would break my light fittings!
katieandnick
Katie already broke our light fitting playing bowling on Wii Sport I'd like to know how many things in people's lounges have been destroyed since the advent of the Wii!
