Couperman
and you didn't ask them who they were looking for and why? Typical bloke Now, if Cathy had gone down she'd be telling us the WHOLE story! He said they were looking for a bloke in a red top. I didn't ask for any further info, sometimes it is better not to know The poor copper didn't really have time for a chat either. I have since found out that the fugitive headed off over into the next two streets and then into our allotment site. I was told there was quite a few squad cars, vans, dog handlers etc. I don't know if they caught him but it sounds like the odds were stacked against him. The heckelopter was out again last night Kev.

The Dogmother
Rosie used to call the chinooks 'wokka-wokkas' from the noise they make, the name has stuck. I love going to airshows, but used to work under the flightpath into RAF Brize Norton, that was bad enough - at the time of one conflict it sounded like they were landing on the roof! WitchHazel
We have Elton John's helicopter flying over our house a lot, uually at silly o'clock (2 or 3am). Then about half an hour later, his pilot flies back to wherever the helicopter is kept. It's very low, and very annoying at that time of night.
