How Quickly Does Albendazole Work?

My Partridge Silkie which hatched on Friday has rather odd feet.. I was expecting the usual 5 toes and both the Black Silkies have 5, however this little Silkie seems to have an extra sixth one..

 

Has anyone come across this or am I looking at a little spur?? Although would have thought far too soon??

 

 

By the way it makes no difference to me just curious!

I guess it happens occasionally with all animals - humans included. It's a little Ent! Still sweet even so.

Foot abnormalities are very common in silkies, frequently found with 4 or 6 toes or club feet. It is recommended not to breed from these as an inherited disorder . Hope that helps! One of my latest hatch has 4 toes. Ros.

Oh thanks its useful to know its common! I won't be breeding from it as no cockerel and bought the fetile eggs in, but if a boy its going back to the breeder so I guess that might mean bad news.. fingers crossed its a girl then as I don't mind its toes

No, just using 'chap' as a generic term. Silkies are usually late to sex.
