I haven't seen any Glastonbury progs yet, but we were watching Download and I wished I could have gone - sooo many rock bands I like - new and old.

I caught the end of The Ting Tings, who were quite good. Am watching Bloc Party. I like a few of their songs, but not all. I had a peek at the red button coverage, but not alot there. Lilly Allen, Jack Penate and someone else. Really wanted to catch up with White Lies.

I love Jack Penate -Torn on the PLatform is definitely one of my favourite songs

Why is Lily Allen on every channel ? BBC 2, 3, and the Red Button, there must be loads of bands being recorded that could do with the coverage.

Thought Ga Ga was very good last night - especially the piano piece, she actually has a very good voice.

Madness were good, I can't believe that they hadn't performed at Glastonbury since 1986

 

The Ting Tings were great as was Lady Gaga.

 

Lily Allen was much better live than she usually is and I too would love to be able to wear an outfit like that, she may have her troubles but she is very pretty.

 

Tom Jones gave a great performance, not in bad shape for his age

I'm so looking forward to not staying up until way past 1am watching it on telly tonight as I have since Friday Loved Bruce Springsteen & Nick Cave

Really enjoyed the TV coverage (apart from the inane presenters, that is ).

 

It was great to see some of the oldies back on the menu. Loved The Specials, Madness, Quo, Jones the Voice and Bruce.

 

Blur were amazing! I thought they did an absolutely cracking set. I'd love to see them live. There would have to be seats though. My knees don't do standing for hours or sitting on the grass. I'd never get up again.

I liked the presenters, but then I am a radio 1 listener, OH couldn't stand Edith Bowman's voice, she is quite enthusiastic and does tend to shout into the microphone, but she is lovely and that enthusiasm gets me through the afternoon most days.

 

Not a patch on John Peel though
